Welcome to Performing Artist Studios !

We are a Drama and Live Performance school that focuses on all aspects of Live performance! We do Drama and Theatre training, Singing Classes, Music Classes, Mind and Body wellness classes, Voice classes as well as Eisteddfod and Public speaking training! 

Our Aim is to create a space where everyone child or student gets to embrace their uniqueness and to add all that they are to their style of performance. We create a safe space where everyone gets the opportunity to be themselves without judgement but rather with respect for all.

All of our teachers studied BA Drama at the University of Pretoria (Cum Laude) and we have attended amany international acclaimed courses.

Drama, Eisteddfod and Public Speaking Classes

Our drama classes are focused to give all our students all the tools they need to become the best performers they can be! Our Drama classes start at 3 years old as children at this age have no self judgement and they don't judge what they are doing, but they are in the moment and Real, which is what performing is all about!

We offer classes called Poetry Parties which teaches children aged 3-6 Acting though Poetry, Movement and Play! Poetry is SO important as it helps to created different character bodies, voices and it helps children to remember large pieces of text. After this age, we focus on the body of the character in Poetry. Students aged from 13 and up, start to work on Monologues, Dialogues and Emotion in Performance. We enter all students who want to do it, into Eisteddfods and competitions.

We enter into all Eisteddfods in Gauteng to give the children a platform to showcase their work, and to track their progress through the years. 

We also do a showcase at the end of every year to give the children a chance to showcase what they have been working on!

Our classes will help each student to become the best actor/actress they can by working on all round training in voice, emotion and movement! If you want to do this to become a film actor, theatre actor or just to become more comfortable in front of others or to one day perform in a school play, these classes are some that you don't want to miss!

 Music Classes!

We offer individual specialized classes in Piano, Saxophone and most Air instruments. We are base on the Trinity Syllabus and these classes are focused on the Practical and Theoretical part of The Trinity music programe. We also offer classes for 3-6 year olds which we call Rhythm Play! Rhythm play are our new classes that creates a playful environment whilst helping children learn rhythm, basics of music theory and finding their instrument they would like to focus on later in life!

Our teacher has been doing music since she could walk and would be the perfect teacher for your child!

Singing Classes!

Our singing classes are there for all who want to improve their voices and learn how to sing a big variety of music styles! We set out to improve one's range, styles of singing and to training each individual with a tool box which they will be able to apply for years and years to come! 

It is about having a healthy voice and knowing how to do everything your voice can from belting to singing around a campfire!

Voice Classes

Our teachers are all trained in voice and we base our approach to voice training on that of Arthur Lessac and Rudolph Laban. Both of these men took body-mind-spirit approaches to voice training which is what we use to develop our students voices. We also help with voice problems such as students struggling to say certain sounds.

We also use voice training as a mode of self-healing, calming and "meditation" in as sense as our voice's vibrations in our body have been medically proven to better one's emotional and physical.

Mind and Body Wellness Classes!

These classes are focused on connecting oneself in Mind, Body and Soul! These classes are base on elements of voice training, Yoga and the body work of Rudolph Laban! You do not want to miss this!
